Ironing operator — Fond du Lac County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off.
