Steel fixing chargehand — Ila

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Ila, Osun State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
