What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
