The role involves boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
