System formwork carpenter wanted in Lake of the Woods County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
