Pipe fitter — Albemarle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will work at a sanitaryware showroom with a fitting service. On a typical shift you will detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections; make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs; install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves. Requirements: • Willing to attend emergency call-outs • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
