Bricklayer • Gallatin County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Gallatin County, Kentucky. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
