Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time with occasional weekends.
