Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation worker in Sierra County, California. Day to day you will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
