Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Warren County, Virginia. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
