Trowel-trade bricklayer • Grant County, Washington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Grant County, Washington. Day to day you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
