Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Allegany County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
