Great opportunity: floor screeder (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a floor screeder in Union County, Illinois. The job is on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
