Ladle pourer • Taylor County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Taylor County, Florida. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
