Conventional mill operator wanted in City and Borough of Wrangell

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 2+ years on the tools preferred.
