Urgent requirement: horizontal milling machine operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work at an automotive components factory. On the job you will handle: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 5+ years on the tools preferred.
