Tree and shrub pruner wanted in Humboldt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Humboldt County, California. The job is in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
