Auto body repairer — Fulton County

Join our team: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Fulton County, New York. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Day-to-day duties: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
