Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in DeKalb County, Georgia. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On the job you will handle: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
