Steel erection rigger wanted in Carver County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Carver County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
