Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Custer County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 1+ years on the tools preferred.
