Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
