Concrete pump mate • Henrico County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Henrico County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
