Finish carpenter • Allendale County, South Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Allendale County, South Carolina. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Your main tasks: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Six days a week, one day off.
