Plasterer's mate wanted in Pottawatomie County

Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents On the job you will handle: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
