GMAW welder • LeFlore County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Full-time with occasional weekends.
