Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Napa County, California. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 5+ years on the tools preferred.
