Pipe tig welder wanted in Uintah County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Uintah County, Utah. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
