Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Eaton County, Michigan. You will work at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime You will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
