Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Urue Offong/Oruko, Akwa Ibom State. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
