Chiller technician • Amelia County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Amelia County, Virginia. You will be based at a food processing plant. Day to day you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
