Industrial sewing operator — San Saba County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in San Saba County, Texas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes.
