Immediate opening: marble polisher (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble polisher in Houghton County, Michigan. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. The role involves cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience.
