Pressman wanted in Derry City and Strabane

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
