Precision welder — Itas/Gadau

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
