MIG welder • Warren County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Warren County, Tennessee. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
