Concrete worker wanted in Miami County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete worker in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
