Vacancy available: GTAW welder (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Clarke County, Virginia. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
