Banksman — Blackford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Blackford County, Indiana. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
