Great opportunity: we are hiring a dough maker in Union County, South Dakota. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
