Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
