We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cooper County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding.
