Concrete pump mate wanted in Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Lake County, Tennessee. You will work on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
