Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Screven County, Georgia. The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
