Punch press operator wanted in Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Polk County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
