We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Marion County, Alabama. You will work in a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
