Rebar fixer • Sioux County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sioux County, Nebraska. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. On a typical shift you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Overtime paid at a premium rate.
