Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in O'Brien County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in O'Brien County, Iowa. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
