Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Boone County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Full-time, day shift.
