Fire and safety officer — Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
